Once upon a time, in the magical ancient land of Hellas, Lady Athena taught the Titan god Prometheus useful subjects such as mathematics. Lord Apollo is of reason/logic, and with reason/logic, Hermes Trismegistus is said to have discovered mathematics, the highest wisdom. After Prometheus' education, he and/or Lord Hephaestus made clay figures and Athena brought them to life. They were the first humans. When they were sacrificing to the Olympians, Prometheus, to help humanity, tricked Lord Zeus into accepting something worse, so the humans kept something better. Zeus, the lightninger, became angry and sent the first woman, Pandora, a dangerous jar, described in another myth. Prometheus felt sorry for them and taught them what Athena taught him.
Prometheus went to the forge of Lord Hephaestus and stole fire, and brought it to humanity. Zeus became angry, and for punishment, chained Prometheus to a rock and had an eagle eat his liver every day and made it grow back every day. Thousands of years later, Prometheus was freed by Heracles, possibly by telling him a secret that would prevent Zeus' downfall.
It is said because of Athena, Hermes, and Prometheus' teaching, and his self-sacrifice, we have knowledge, and fire that lights. Enlightenment, like light, shows what is real and has to do with truth, goodness, beauty, and virtue, such as learning about and perfecting your real self. The path to enlightenment is math.
This uses the myth of Prometheus and refers to Hermes-Thoth and the myth of creation of humanity.
Gods may or may not exist, but if they do, they are probably not what we think. They could heve been legendary people or exist as people who transcended humanity, or Jungian archetypes. In any case, any and all gods exist under the laws of maths just as everything else, but maybe in a different existence or level than humans.
Sophia, Prometheus, Metis, Zeus, Athena, Artemis Promethea, Hermes, Hephaestus can all be considered gods of intelligent ideas--they are all called gods of thought/wisdom/enlightenment or skill/science. A real god of intelligent ideas would not ask to be worshipped and might actually cringe at it. Maybe it is ok if some people do before they actually see this, or for fun, but such gods can be examples to us to engage in scientific thought, critical thought, courageous thought.
